The Energy Startup Day 2025 was a full success, with 230 participants & 36 startups. Save the date for the next ESD on November 19, 2026, once again at the Kultur- & Kongresshaus Aarau, together with Electrosuisse. Let’s connect ground-breaking energy and cleantech startups with Swiss incumbent companies, public institutions, and investors to foster relationships, collaboration, and investment.

Startup Call

The application is open until June 7. If you operate in electricity, energy, mobility, smart energy, or climate technologies — and you're in the founding, validation, or growth phase then apply now. Its a very simple one step application that takes only 15 minutes and has a high chance of success. Startups from 2025 were very content with the traction at the event

The Energy Startup Day 2026 organisation has started

The startup selection process 2026 has started. Please apply here and spread the word. The Energy Startup Day will again take place together with Electrosuisse as "Energiezukunfts meets Energy Startup Day" giving it great reach in the energy community. Just as the Energy Startup Day always promotes collaborations between Startups and Industry, we are also seaking meaningful collaborations ourself to make energy startups even more visible. The Energy Startup Day is Switzerland’s most important event for connecting startups & innovators with authorities, corporates and investors. We showcase the most promising solutions that aim to increase energy efficiency, decarbonize the industry and push forward the energy transformation via digitalization and the use of artificial intelligence. The program is packed with inputs, pitches, networking opportunities and a startup exhibition.
